Where children are on a Sunday

Grace Kids serves toddlers through 3rd grade, and One Tribe is the group for 4th and 5th grade. Both meet during the 10:00 AM service.

One Tribe starts in the sanctuary and worships with the adults, is dismissed to its own time of study, and rejoins the service for communion and the second set of worship. The first Sunday of every month is Family Sunday, when all the kids stay in the service with their parents.

Checking in

Check-in opens at 9:40 AM, twenty minutes before the service. Every child is registered and checked in at the Grace Kids table before the service starts. If it is your first Sunday, come a few minutes early and a leader will walk you through it.

Who is responsible

Grace Kids and One Tribe are led by Amber McGuire. Our children's ministries sit under Family Ministry and are accountable to the elders, and the church office includes a policy and training coordinator.

Ask us before you leave your child with us

No parent should have to take a church's word for it. If you would like to know how we choose, screen, and train the people who serve with children, please ask — talk to any elder on a Sunday, or call the church message line, and we will walk you through it.

You are also welcome to stay with your child in Grace Kids until you are comfortable.
