How We "Do" Church
Our Priorities
We believe our priorities are to Love God, Serve People, and to Become a Family of Believers.
At Cornerstone Church in Lolo, MT (CCLolo), you will discover a family friendly environment with a really great mix of current, and older, familiar praise music and relevant messages from God’s word. Whether you are a Christ follower, coming back to faith after a long absence, or seeking to discover what following Christ is all about, you will find a welcoming and open environment and experience a fresh expression of God’s love.
CCLolo is a place where you can feel comfortable exploring spiritual questions at your own pace. Feel free to dress in whatever attire makes you comfortable, as our members wear everything from T-shirts, shorts, bluejeans and flip-flops to slacks and button up dress shirts, but you’ll hardly ever see anyone in a tie.

What to Expect on a Sunday Morning
Service begins at 10am. You'll be welcomed into the building by people who genuinely care about you and want to make sure you feel comfortable and cared for. At this point you can grab a free cup of coffee or tea and then find a spot in our sanctuary, which seats up to 175 people. Don't be surprised if you end up meeting at least a handful of people before the service starts, as we really are a friendly group! If you have children, you'll want to get them checked-in and registered with Grace Kids or OneTribe before 10am so you don't miss a thing.
We begin each Sunday with three powerful worship/praise songs and prayer, then have a short greeting time before our weekly announcements. Next, we have a teaching/sermon from scripture that lasts 30-40 minutes. While we choose to primarily preach word for word from the Bible, every now and then we'll do a short topical study.
After the sermon/message, we have communion with bread and juice. Communion is the weekly part of our service where we remember and celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Anyone who believes Jesus lived a sinless life and then died on the cross for our sins, was raised on the third day and has confessed Him as their Lord and Savior is welcome to take communion.
After communion, we sing three more worship/praise songs, and then we close in prayer. The service runs about 1.5 hours and is filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit. You will find that fellowship after the service is always busy and bustling and a great time to get to know each other better and we almost always have fantastic homemade treats to share.
Past Sermons – Our past sermons can be found on FACEBOOK and our YOUTUBE CHANNEL. We are not currently livestreaming our Sunday services. Please join us in-person instead! If you would like to hear what we like for worship/praise music, please check out this SPOTIFY playlist and you'll get a taste of what is played by our worship team every Sunday.
Grace Kids (Our Younger Kid's Church)
The first Sunday of every month is Family Sunday–meaning all kids will be in the service with their parents. Grace Kids, our children’s ministry for toddlers through 3rd grade, is available the rest of the month with check-in starting at 9:40. Grace Kids is designed to quickly introduce our children to scripture, and the stories that themes that are shared with us in the Bible.

Tr1be (Our Older Kid's Church)
“One Tribe” is our Sunday morning study for 4th and 5th graders. They gather together as a group in the sanctuary and worship with the adults, but are then dismissed to their own time of study and fun. They’ll join the main service again right after the message so they can partake in communion and the second set of worship music. They stay in the sanctuary for the whole service during the first Sunday of the month, which is Family Sunday.
What We Believe
We are a non-denominational church, which means that we don’t have a certain dogma or doctrine that we have to follow or that we change based on what culture tells us to believe.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, He died on the cross for our sins, He was resurrected three days later to give us eternal life, and that He is the only way to God and heaven, and that Hell is a real place. We believe the Bible is truth and that living a Christ-honoring life is simply the best way to live.
We believe that the Bible is flawless in its original languages and is perfect for instructing each of us through daily living and life’s great challenges. We delight in His Grace, His Love, and His Laws. We believe that without Jesus Christ, we are without hope in this life and eternity. We love to gather together and worship the Lord in song, study, and in ministering others. We believe that the church is a family and we seek to treat each other as such. We believe that coming together on Sunday is essential to our walk, our growth, and our maturity in Christ. We desire to worship God in all areas of our lives. We believe that God calls Christians to live a life that means following a different path than the world.
Although we affirm the importance of community, we do not believe in compromising God’s Truth or the standards He has called us to, in order to draw people, or to grow in numbers. We believe that to become a mature believer one must study, pray, and live a life that shows total dependency on God, including every breath we breathe. We believe that we must also continue to gather together as commanded in Hebrews 10:24-25. We believe that this Christian life is an active life of service to our Lord as we reach out to the lost and the broken. We believe that people who are deeply committed to Jesus will produce godly fruit manifested in the choices and actions the make in life.
